We then watched the movie clips for Act I Scene i on youtube (see previous post for link) and created a triple Venn diagram as described in previous post comparing and contrasting the three clips. At the end of class, we read Act I scene i and discussed and took notes. The summaries of each scene ppt is available under assignments.
HW: Read and do reading strategies for Act I Scenes 1-3 in spelling packet from last week. This assignment can also be downloaded from assignments tab on this site.

We warmed up with Journal 2: Pick one item from the anticipation guide (different than one you wrote paragraph on over the weekend) and write one half page on why you agree or disagree with this statement. Use specific example s from your own experience. Title and date your entry.
After the journal, we completed the Venn diagram of the three movie clips (if needed--see previous post) and took notes on the Act I scenes 1-2 summaries. The ppt can be downloaded from assignments if you need the notes. We then read and took notes on/discussed scenes 1-2. We will finish that tomorrow first thing.
